Help - Character Creation
Character Creation
Below is a basic process for creating characters. This can be adapted and modified to fit whatever needs the GM feels, and should be flexible enough to cover all scenarios but simple enough that an entire session isn’t needed for creation.
Choose A Role
This is just to add flavour and backstory to the character and help guide the players’ choices. These can also help with social scenarios, for example a Nomad may have an easier time talking to other Nomads.
A full list is available on the Options page, but see some examples below:
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Street Samurai | Cyber-enhanced warrior, close combat specialist |
| Netrunner | Elite hacker, breaching corpo systems and networks |
| Nomad | Road-hardened survivalist, driver, and wilderness guide |
Assign Stats
Your 3 stats are Cool, Mind, and Muscle. Assign -1, +1, and +2 to your stats. Simple as that.
| Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Cool | Used for rolls like Stealth, Persuasion, and Streetwise, and Precision |
| Mind | Used for rolls like Hacking, Analysis, Knowledge, and Tech Repairs |
| Muscle | Used for rolls like Strength, Melee Combat, Intimidation, and Athletics |
Choose A Special Skill
Special skills provide Advantage on a roll when applicable.
A full list is available on the Options page, but see some examples below:
| Special Skill | Description | Gameplay Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Knife Fighter | Expert with knives and short blades | Advantage with bladed weapons. Crit can disable limbs or disarm |
| Expert Hacker | Master of digital intrusion | Advantage on hacking rolls (breaches, counter-ICE, stealth data retrieval) |
| Drone Swarm Controller | Operates multiple drones | Advantage controlling drones; Can command 2 drones with a single action |
Choose Cyberware
Each player can choose 1 Cyberware to start with.

| Reflex Boosters | Enhanced neural speed | Always acts first in combat unless ambushed |
| Optic Camo | Active invisibility field | Invisible for one scene, or until attacking/damaged |

Choose Gear
Each player gets to choose 2 pieces of gear.
